Monochromatic.
Summer 2022.
What tends to be missing from a lot of content about curating a minimalist wardrobe; (or, capsule wardrobe, for those who follow trends), is a dedicated nod to the nonchalance it gives to day-to-day wear; and why that would even be desirable.
Explanations surrounding minimalist wardrobes seem to abound into French chic style guides, and 30-items-or-less challenges; but what doesn't get nearly enough air time, is the inner code of elegance; such that can elevate daily comfort, by barely changing a thing.
What makes a wardrobe minimal is not the number of items, or range of choices, hanging inside, it's the number of limitations suspended within.
Outfits take on a new wave of creativity; and are executed with subtlety.
Every component is carefully thought out, both in their introduction to the wardrobe space, and their placement on the body; and though a muted, monochromatic approach may suggest otherwise, the styling opportunities become ever versatile.
